Meting of Expert Sub-Group on Law Enforcement in Forest SectorAt Federal Forestry Agency on June 21, 2007 took place the first meeting of expert sub-group on law enforcement in forest sector, forest management and forest protection within the frames of Dialogue EU-Russia During this meeting were discussed issues connected with implementing ecologically-oriented EU policy on governmental purchases; preventing illegal logging and illegal wood turnover in the Russian Federation. Also were discussed opportunities of three-lateral cooperation between Russia, EU and third countries in the field of forest protection, new Forest Cod of the Russian Federation and next steps for its implementing.
