IX International Forest Forum

Presidium of the first plenary meeting consisted of Deputy Plenipotentiary Representative of the President of the Russian Federation in North-Western Federal District E.V. Lukyunov, Minister for Natural resources Yu.P. Trutnev, Chairman of the State Duma Committee on Natural Resources and Nature Management N.V. Komarova, Head of Fedral Forestry Agency V.P. Roshchupkin, Deputy Director General of UN FAO Ya. Heino, Chairman of Russian Society of Foresters A.I. Pisarenko. 

At the opening session of the Forum were handed over   awards to the specialists of forestry and winners of IV International Forest Junior Contest. Forum will continue its work till October 12, 2007.
