• Staff police, retraining and perfecting professional skills of personnel;
• Providing with material-technical support and social conditions of Rosleskhoz;
• Managing federal property and conducting its register;
• Securing international cooperation;
• Organizing and controlling activities of territorial organs, FSI “Centerles”, FSI “Russian Forest Museum”, SEI “VIPKLKh”, SEI “DalIPKLKh”;
• Issues of creating, transforming and abolishing organizations under jurisdiction;
• Cooperation with public organizations, including All-Russian Society of Foresters;
• Methodological support of acts related to Department’s fields of activities.
