The Prospects of Cooperation between Russia and Latvia in the Field of Forestry were Considered in Rosleskhoz

During this meeting the Parties exchanged information on developing forestry I both countries and adopted a decision on promoting cooperation in this field. The efforts on drafting a Memorandum outlining principles of cooperation between Russia and Latvia in forestry will be continued. 

With the aim of promoting cooperation, Mikhail Giryaev officially invited delegation from Latvia to take part at international meeting on preventing trans border wild fire and training exercises in connection with this meeting. The meeting is planned to be held on June 16-18, 2010 in Irkutsk.
